Always a good one to attend, and good dry conditions if not a little hot, and a range of abilities its fair to say. If you are a fair weather outdoors recreational athlete (as I would describe myself), don’t just pick up where you left off last summer, build up your pace slowly, check your shoes are fit for purpose (esp grip), check your insoles, layer up to keep your muscles warm during variable weather, strengthen the main muscle groups involved in your sport you are returning to, and top up your core strength to avoid injuries.
