This is the most commonly known type of physiotherapy to the body’s system of bones, muscles, joints, nerves and other soft tissue. We treat all regions of the body, peripheral and spinal joints, from jaw pain to foot and ankle and everything between. If you need referral to a consultant doctor, we will tell you, and refer you. Your first session involves an assessment, clinical diagnosis and treatment.
We offer bespoke and specific treatments by listening carefully to what is affecting you and providing what you need for recovery, whether its pain relief, advice, return to work or return to sports. We are hands on physiotherapists. We don’t just hand out exercises (although exercises can help). The commonly known types of treatments include: manual therapy, manipulation, massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy.
Our Physiotherapists with Masters level qualifications offer specialist care for difficult-to-treat conditions such as tennis elbow, chronic lower back pain, headaches, achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, heel pain, rotator cuff injuries and chronic knee pain even where previous treatments, injections or surgery have failed. If you require this level of expertise, please mention this when booking to ensure you are booked in with the appropriate physio.
