I was, once again, very excited to have an interview at the end of last year, 2014, for a position as Physiotherapist to the First European Games to be held in Baku, Azerbijan, June 2015. 6000 athletes, 49 countries, 20 sports. It was my first Skype interview so once the nerves settled down it all went well. Fast forward to summer 2015. I was providing medical cover for athletics, boxing, gymnastics, mountain biking and taekwondo. Unexpectedly, I enjoyed mountain biking the most. The elite paramedics I worked with were inspiring.
