Our clients stories……..
the calibre of physios at our practice is high and reflected in our client testimonials.
I came to Tambu at Action Harpenden Physio 12 years ago on the strong recommendation of a consultant at the Spire after an invisible but nasty condition called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome had basically baffled the nation’s medical profession for 20 years and led to my going 4 times under the knife and ending up a mess of wasted muscles and semi dislocations. Tambu diagnosed the EDS on my 2nd appointment, guided and supported me to meeting with the top NHS team in the UK for the condition, and taught me the exercises – the TOOLS – to manage my condition and stay away from surgeons. I check in once a month to put things back where they should be (and appointments are always running on time btw) and she always finds a way to see me in a true emergency. In short, Tambu has literally given me my life back. I walk miles, I swim, I do weights, I practice t’ai chi. I have fun! -Sas
“Tambu is my go-to physio for a variety of spine, muscle and nerve problems that I get from time-to-time due to old age and over-use injuries. What differentiates this physio practice from some others is the, literally, hands-on treatment that creates an immediate improvement. I’ve seen Tambu for years on and off. She is not only an expert and very knowledgeable physiotherapist but she also understands so much else about the associated medical issues in the human body.” -David Redcastle, St Albans
I had an exceptional experience with my physiotherapist, Jael at Action Harpenden Physiotherapy. Her expertise, compassion and personalised approach made a significant difference in my recovery over the last 8 months. The sessions were tailored to meet my needs and her encouragement has motivated me to surpass my own expectations. I highly recommend her services for anyone seeking top-notch care and positive results. I genuinely looked forward to my sessions with Jael as she always had my best interests at heart. If ever I needed a physiotherapist in the future, I would not consider anyone else but Jael. -Deborah
I have been having treatment from Jael at Action Harpenden Physiotherapy for chronic shin pain. She is an excellent physio and she has been an essential part of my journey to recovery. Jael was very thorough in understanding my problem at the start, and the treatment was based on a sound analysis of my condition. She recommended physical treatment as well as rehab exercises for me to do at home. Her advice was clear and easy to follow, and whenever I lost heart or felt overwhelmed, she was always kind and supportive. She adapted her treatment as new issues arose, and she recommended other professionals as and when appropriate. I felt looked after and supported, and Jael’s kindness and expertise was so valuable to me. I know that I would not be as far along in my recovery as I am without Jael, and the process would have been much, much harder to cope with. LP
